About Me
Since I “emerged” out of my mothers’ womb, I was obsessed in doing everything to “submerge” again. Although I had attended many snorkelling expeditions, I had to wait long until my dream came true. After my electrician-apprenticeship (1995) and having passed my OWD-Course, I was able to touch base with the underwater world and was totally fascinated. 1996 I headed for New Zealand and Australia, where I achieved the AOWD-Course. I was haunted by the diving syndrome which never left me since. After the Rescue Diver Course and a winter holiday on the Philippines, I had the idea to become a diving instructor. I passed the Dive-Master Course which was followed by the Diving Instructors’ Course and spent the whole winter again on the Philippines; until homesickness caught me. Still in trance with the colourful underwater world of the sea, I realised that I still feel quite happy scuba diving here in Switzerland. This is one of many aspects, why I have become a part-time instructor at a diving shop “SCUBA VIVA”, which is situated in Winterthur, canton Zurich. |
